WINTER'S HIT ONTARIO
Nov 17 08

With over 40cm of snow in most of Ontario's Ski resort areas, Winter has hit friggin' HARD this year -- not to mention how early this is.  Really strange considering that WHISTLER is opening this weekend, and SO are a few resorts here in Ontario!  What are the chances!

SO, if you are around Ontario, I'll be shreddin' at Horseshoe on Friday, and most likely Moonstone on Saturday for a bit, then Jamie Dawson's/Squire John's Jib Contest Dawson's/Squire John's Jib Contest (here's the facebook event for it) later that day.

THEN, first thing Monday I'm off for a 5 day road trip accross the country where I move into my new place in Whistler for the season.  My sled's gettin' tuned up and the snow is dumping!

BARACK BLOCK PARTY TIME
Nov 5 08

So....Although I would like to avoid getting into politics on this blog, but I feel that today/yesterday is a pretty momentous and important day in North American history.   Canadian's can say what they want, but if you haven't already, you need to admit that the US is an integral part of our society and economy.

If you've been living under a rock or in a cave like the other Obama, November 4th, 2008 was a historical day for the USA; the citizens of that country elected the first black President in their history.

I'm pretty stoked to see what happens in the years to come!  Here's a bit of news coverage from CNN.com
