I was so stoked to see this series come back in action!  I spent hours as a kid watching this stuff, and now I bring you 2:45 mins of entertainment somewhat Gladiatorish.....well I didn't bring it to you, but I am linking it here for you all to see!

American Gladiator Rejected Auditions:

Well well.  I had to continue the tradtion on hitting up Monster Jam (this is something we did for years in Toronto - we'd get something like 25 ppl, have some drinks, ride the subway downtown, then enter to would proceed as a night of bad hari cuts, trashy women and debauchery!) ....

... Skelhorn,his girlfriend Lindsay, and I rolled out of Whis after an epic park day, and made our way to Van City.  After what seemed like hours of circling, we found parking in the range of 2 - 7 km away....eitehr way it was far!  We met up with Nate, Jackie, Steve and his friend and Fimio outside of the stadium.  On our way in, we realized that we stuck out like a bunch of sore thumbs at this event...and to make matters worse they didnt serve any drinks as it is a family event.  Anyways, we found our nose-bleed $27 seats and sat back to enjoy the show (which by the way was on concrete and not dirt --- WHO does that? It's monster trucks! geez!)   Grave Digger!!!!!!!

looks like we'll have some new snow finally!

So out little day trip to the interior was a complete bust for the most part.  The snow was great, but the zones were not really accessible.  That is how it goes sometimes! 

Does anyone know anyone from the Chilliwack/Hope/The Coquiahlla who knows anything about the backcountry or rails?  If so!  Fire me an email or comment!

It's finally snowing again here in Whis!  Stoked!  Just needs to dump a few feet.....NBD (no big deal...really...).

Sorry for my lack of posting lately!  I'll be much better from now on. 

Here is a little update of what I've been doing over the last few weeks:
I spent the holidays back home in Ontario, where I bounced back and forth from Collingwood to Toronto and everywhere in between.  It was good to hang out with the fam and friends and of course my girlfriend, Jess!  Did some riding back home, and everything we went to shoot or attempt to plan was kiboshed by weather. 

I came back to Whistler on Jan 7th to find my truck burried under a few feet of snow (took me 2 hours to dig out).  The snow was really unstable in the backcountry for  a few days so I just rode the mountain for a while.  Later in the week, I left for Calgary for the Billabong Ante Up contest at C.O.P.  The contest was chock-full of amazing shreds, but the course was pretty difficult for everyone to hold their tricks together.  I rode well, but it wasn't enough to make any money!  Back to Whistler...

Shortly after we got back in the backcountry and tried to find new spots to shoot.  The weather didn't allow for a lot to happen; the wind quickly came in and wind-slapped all of the snow.  It's been been over a week now of horrible snow, so we've been riding the black park on blackcomb.  It's been pretty icey, but loads of fun! 

Tomorrow, I'm going to do a small road trip to the interior to try and get some better snow.  Hopefully we get some work done!   Check back for an update on that trip and PRAY for new snow here in Whis!
