The trip is almost over…

…counting down the final days here in Mexico. The boys (Jesmond, Dan, and I) decided to get flights back to BC this Thursday so we can catch an afternoon session for Whistler Blackcomb‘s opening day! Surf to Snow!

We spent 2 weeks down in Nexpa, and got some amazing surf! Big swell and good periods made for some awesome conditions. Then we headed north and stopped for a morning sesh in La Ticla, which was fun, but not epic. That place has really REALLY changed a lot in a year. The river is completely different which makes the break completely different.  Later that day we headed further north to Tecoman and checked out the famous break Pascuales.  We surfed it, or at least attempted to yesterday, everyone got a few waves, and either way it’s pretty rad to say “I surfed Pascuales”.  Now, we are chillin in Sayulita, enjoying the mellow vibe. No more surf but it’s been grand!

See ya soon Whissy!

Checkin’ in from the beach!

Due to the lack of  fast internet down here, I haven’t been able to upload any pics yet, but here’s one my friend MC snapped of me…working really hard

Alive in Puerto Vallarta…

… after a $25 all you can party night, we are alive and on our way to get new surf boards and head south! Will post pics ASAP!

Welcome to my new site

It’s quick and dirty, but it’ll do for now. (bare with me, I’ll be updating this thing ASAP)  I just got to Mexico for a little pre-season surf trip! I’ll be blogging as much as possible from here, but in the mean time check out my edit from last season, edited by my good buddy Adam Cruickshanks! Enjoy
